2 former Nigerian ministers, others, condole with Putin over killings in Moscow

Some Nigerian leaders, led by former Minister of Culture and Tourism, Femi Fani Kayode, have condoled with Russian President Vladimir Putin, over the recent killings in Moscow.

The group while meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Nigeria, Alexey Shebarshin, in Abuja, applauded the Russian military’s immediate intervention.

Ambassador Sherbarshin expressed hope in the leadership of the Russian President in forestalling a repeat.

So far, at least four men suspected of carrying out the attack at the Moscow concert hall, have appeared in court on terror charges.

The concert hall killings left 139 people dead.
