At least 20 people are feared dead, while several others sustained injuries in a multiple-vehicle crash at Hwan Kibo in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria.
The crash, which occurred on Friday evening at about 5pm, involved a truck and other vehicles, prompting residents and motorists to rush to the scene to assist victims.

Plateau State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Corps Commander Adelaja Ogungbemi, attributed the crash to brake failure, saying the truck’s braking system failed before the collision.
