The annual session of the African Union, AU opened on Saturday at the continental body’s headquarters, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Felix Tsishikedi, has emerged as the new A.U Chairman, replacing Cyril Ramphosa of South Africa.

The President of the A.U Commission, Musa Faki Mahamat gave a scorecard of what had been achieved in the last four years, at the summit at which Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, is also participating, albeit virtually.
