A former Super Eagles player, Victor Agali has commended the Super Eagles for their great performance at the ongoing 2022 World Cup Qualifier, saying the team played tactically well to defeat their opponents.
Agali gave the commendation in Ado-Ekiti, in an interview with reporters.

The veteran football player was in Ekiti to participate in the SouthWestern Veteran Football Competition, held at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti capital.
The former national team player, who captained the Lagos State All-Stars International, expressed happiness for playing with other veterans during the competition.
He described all the participants as winners as they had won one competition at one time or the other.
A member of the house of representatives present at the event, Femi Bamisile urged Nigerians to see sports as a unifying factor that could bring solutions to the myriad of problems facing the country.
The Ondo State All-Stars qualified for the next round after defeating their Oyo State opponent one goal to nil to represent the SouthWest Zone in Abuja.
The Ondo State veteran team was coached by Ade Gbangba. Gbangba expressed joy for clinching the zonal ticket.
Sports analyst, Femi Amusan, who also participated in the competition advised Nigerian youths to be disciplined and remain committed in pursuit of their goals.
