Nigerian Senate President, Ahmed Lawan has pledged that, if elected as Nigeria President , he will diversifying the Nation’s economy into Agriculture and productive sector.
Ahmed said this in Calabar, Friday when he visited Governor Ben Ayade in his office, promising that he will revisit the issue of insecurity in the country and ensure that Banditry, Boko Haram and insurgency are brought to an end.

He also promised that if he gets the ticket the people of Cross River will benefit from his economic blueprint for the Country,even as he told Ayade that he should not forget him if he gets the APC Presidential Ticket.
The Senate President pledged to ensure that youths were gainfully employed through agricultural value chain of his government.
Governor Ben Ayade while assuring the Presidential aspirant ,said if the party chooses Lawal,he and the entire APC in Cross River State will be satisfied.
On the entourage of the Senate President was the former Governor of Abia State and Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, Senator John Owan-Enoh among others.
