The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in next year’s presidential election Atiku Abubakar says he is in the contest with the determination to rescue Nigeria, unify the people and rebuild the brotherhood which the founding fathers of the country stood for.
Atiku who said this in a broadcast to kickstart his election campaign promised to restore hope to Nigerians and set the country on a path of recovery from what he described as the maladministration of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
He also said he remained committed to his promise to restructure Nigeria and devolve power to the federating units.
