Ahead of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi has promised not to get himself involved in the process leading to the emergence of the next elective political officers in the State.
Umahi, at a Church service held at the new Government House chapel, Abakaliki, pledged his neutrality in the emerging political game play in Ebonyi State saying, he is convinced that those who would emerge victorious in the 2023 elections would be the people that God himself will anoint.

The Governor is expressing strong belief in God to enthrone leaders who are selfless, and capable of ending the political in-fightings that have apparently dominated the current dispensation in the State.
The Ebonyi State Governor is equally confident in his presidential ambition, as he told the gathering that he was divinely inspired to contest for the highest political office in the country.
