President Bola Tinubu and his entourage in India watched proceedings at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The President is presently in New Delhi, India for the G20 Summit but took time to watch as the five-member panel of justices delivered judgement on petitions challenging his election victory. The consolidated petitions were from major opposition parties and candidates, including Peter Obi of Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as well as the Allied People Movement APM.
After rejoicing over the court judgement the President said it was a strong and emotional journey for everyone involved.
