The National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu has reiterated the readiness of the commission to immediately release the timetable for the 2023 General Elections once President Muhammadu Buhari signs into law the Electoral Act as amended.
The INEC boss made this public Thursday while interracting with media executives which has as its theme, “Strengthening INEC/Media partnership for the consolidation of free,fair,credible and inclusive Elections”.
Meanwhile, the INEC commissioner in charge of ICT, Chidi Nwafor explained that under the new innovation introduced by INEC, the issue of underaged voters as well as other electoral malpractices is now a thing of the past as the newly introduced technology will address all these shortcomings.

The INEC boss while thanking the participants for the successful intervention explained that the Electoral body will discharge its responsibilities not minding its numerous challenges.
