The Governor had few days after the primaries set up a Reconciliation Committee to appease aggrieved members of the party following the outcome of the party’s primaries.
The Committee, led by Senator Bala Kariya, submitted its report on Thursday recommending amongst other things that those who lost out including those who voluntarily withdrew from the race should be compensated.
Governor Mohammed commended the PDP Committee for a job well done even as he promised to look into the recommendations for immediate implementation.
He urged party members to unite and work for the interest and success of the party.
The Governor added that his administration will consider compensating those affected, stressing that the success of the PDP in the forthcoming general elections should be seen as the responsibility of all party members, not that of the candidates alone.
