Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Rivers State Sim Fubara says a vote for him and his party will be a vote for consolidation and continuity of the people-oriented projects, development, security and good governance being enjoyed in the state.
Speaking at the party’s rally in Oyigbo Local Government Area, Sim Fubara urged Rivers people not to vote for those who unleashed violence in 2019 and also connived with the immediate past administration to defraud the state.
The PDP in Rivers State on Friday resumed its campaign for the Governorship, State, and National Assembly elections with Governor Nyesom Wike, leading the Sim Fubara consolidation and continuation team to Oyigbo Local Government Area.
Oyigbo is not just a stronghold of the PDP; it’s also the Local Government of the Chairman of the party, Ambassador Desmond Akawor who has led thousands of supporters and residents out to welcome the campaign team.
With the Wike administration coming to their aid on a countless number of times, delivering projects and fulfilling its promises to them, the people of Oyigbo say they have resolved to vote for Sim Fubara and other candidates of the PDP.
While vowing never to disappoint the people, Sim Fubara says he would also fulfil every promise made to them.
Sim Fubara also takes a swipe at the Governorship candidate of the APC Tonye Cole over an inciting comment he made.
Governor Wike also reacts to the violence that rocked the APC rally in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
Governor Nyesom is also not happy with a member of the PDP presidential campaign council, Dr Abiye Sekibo, who, despite the approval given for the use of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium for the PDP presidential rally, has resorted to acts of mischief and provocation.
