The West Africa Elders Forum says it has recieved reports about security concerns, attacks and other pre-election matters that if not addressed could undermine the credibility of the 2023 general election in Nigeria.
Former President of Sierra Leone and leader of the regional elders delegation, Ernest Bai Koroma made this known after a closed-door meeting with Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Iyorcha Ayu in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
