2023 Polls: Niger Police Confirm Attack On Convoy

The Assistant Inspector- General of Police in charge of elections monitoring in Niger State has confirmed the attack on his convoy in Kagara area of the state.

AIG Isaac Akinnoyede confirmed this in Minna during the election monitoring.

Isaac Akinnoyede said the convoy ran into the attackers on the way.

He however assured the residents that security agencies have been deployed to the area to ensure normalcy returns to the place.
He told the electorates to come out vote the candidate of their choice as their safety is guaranteed.
