Katsina State Police command has made a U-turn saying the arrested Political Party agents with twenty (20) laptop computers suspected to allegedly have the intention of hacking into INEC servers to rig elections results, is false.
In a statement by the spokesman of the police, Superintendent Gambo Isah, the Command wishes to state that it has carried out in-depth investigations with the assistance of independent computer expert.

Isah said, the command discovered that the political party in question was setting up a situation room, using a computer application software, for the purpose of collating elections results through their party agents, but not to hack into INEC servers with intent to rig elections results as allegedly reported.
The Commissioner of Police, Katsina state Command, CP Kolo Yusuf is assuring the members of the public that the Command is on top of the situation and in synergy with other sister agencies, to put in place water tight security at all RACs, Polling Centers and Units and urges all to go out and cast their votes without any fear of attack or molestation.
