The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has promised to restore peace and security in Yobe State and ensure all educational institutions closed down due to insecurity are re-opened.
Speaking at the party’s campaign rally in Damaturu the Yobe state capital, the former vice president also promised to create job opportunities for young people in the state.
During the rally in Yobe, the Vice presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa, and the National chairman of the PDP, Iyorcha Ayu urged the people to be vigilant on election day to ensure their votes count.
