Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike says the 2023 Presidential election is going to be about the integrity of the candidates and their capacity to keep to promises.
Speaking at the PDP’s campaign rally for the Governorship, State and National Assembly elections in Emohua Local Government Area of the state, Governor Wike warned of dire consequences if PDP decides to expel him saying that there is no going back on his declaration that Rivers people will not vote for any presidential candidate who does not love the State.
On hand to welcome Governor Nyersom Wike and the Sim Fubara consolidation team were thousands of residents, supporters, and decampees from other political parties.
With the 2023 general elections just a few weeks ahead, the people of Emohua say the only party they intend to vote for is the PDP… saying that they’ve in the last seven and a half years enjoyed a lot of dividends of democracy under the Wike administration that gave them so much in terms of projects and security.
The governorship candidate of the PDP Sim Fubara says he would build on the strong foundation that has been laid by Governor Wike.
Apart from security, Fubara says he would also solve the problem of power supply in Emohua and other parts of the State.
Governor Nyesom Wike assured Rivers people that Sim Fubara will consolidate his achievements and fulfil his promises to them.
He wants Rivers people to exercise patience, saying that a decision on the Presidential candidate to vote for will soon be made known to them.
