The 2024 Teqball National Championship game has kicked off in Aba, Abia State, with 16 states participating in the tournament.
Vice President of Nigeria Teqball Federation and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Ndudi Edede disclosed that the tournament holding at Enyimba Stadium Aba will serve as a ground to select athletes for the Teqball World Championship scheduled to take place in November this year.

Abia State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Nwaobilor Ananaba said that Aba is hosting the game in line with the resolve of the Governor Alex Otti-led administration to make the state a sports destination.
The competition will host both singles and doubles fixtures, with athletes selected to represent Nigeria in both categories at the world tournament
