Bayelsa United and Wikki Tourists have both been relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.

Wikki Tourists suffered a 3-2 defeat to Rivers United on match day 36 and remain on 40 points, while Bayelsa United also stay on 40 points after losing 2-1 away to Remo Stars.

Both teams will now compete in the Nigeria National League (NNL) next season.

With just two matches remaining in the 2025-2026 season, two more teams are still expected to be relegated to the nnl, from a group of seven struggling sides.

Meanwhile, at the top of the NPFL table, Enugu Rangers defeated Bendel Insurance 2-1, with Godwin Obaje scoring a brace to keep Rangers at the summit of the standings.

Rivers United remain in second place, while Shooting Stars climbed to fourth position following a 1-nil victory over Barau FC.
