Nigeria has joined Egypt as the first two countries to qualify for the round of sixteen at the ongoing 2025 Africa cup of nations in Morocco.

The Super Eagles achieved this feat by defeating the Cartage Eagles of Tunisia by three goals to two.

AIT Chief Sports Correspondent Omonfoma Ebare who is in Morocco reports that Nigerian fans showed appreciation to the team describing the situation as a redemption performance
