The spate of anti-party activities and indiscipline among members came to the fore on Thursday as some All Progressives Congress faithful set machinery in motion to curttail what they described as a cankerworm eating deep into the fabric of the party.
Speaking at a briefing at the party’s National Secretariat, Benue State stakeholders of the Strategic Alliance called on party members with grievances to follow procedures that will not affect the party ahead of the 2027 general election.
The APC stakeholders noted that it would be unfaithful to remain silent in the face of what they described as unhealthy developments in the party.
There has been tension within the party following the crisis within the Benue chapter of the APC and the recent spat between governors elected on the platform of the APC and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
