The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has published the final lists for the Presidential, Vice Presidential and National Assembly ticket holders.
Secretary to INEC, Rose Oriaran – Anthony disclosed this in a statement late Saturday.
The list contains the names and credentials of 4,878 Candidates contesting various positions. 18 of the numbers are vying for the Presidential seat while the remaining 4, 860 will contest the 360 Senatorial seats and the 109 House of Representatives seats at the National Assembly.
The publication marks a milestone in the build up to the 2027 general Election, moving the contest from nomination and campaign phases into a definitive ballot configuration as political parties and their Candidates now face the task of persuading Voters.
