The Gombe State Government says it has returned 214,000 out-of-school children from September 2019 to date back to the classroom through the Best Education and Service Delivery for All programme.

The State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, made this know during the distribution of free school items to pupils in public primary schools and girl-child school while declaring free education for children in the states from primary to junior secondary school.

It is a new beginning for the children as they begin life within the four walls of a classroom to acquire free basic western education with the support of the State Government.

The initiative is to encourage enrollment of pupils and ensure quality teachers as physically challenged children are not left out.

The State Government is partnering with the Best Education and Service Delivery for All programme.
