Nigeria has recorded 649 new Covid-19 infections in 22 of the 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory that have reported cases.
The new cases are in Lagos-250; Oyo-100; Plateau-40; Delta-40; Abia-28; Kaduna-27; Ogun-22; Edo-20; Akwa Ibom-18; Kwara and FCT-17. Others include Enugu-14; Niger and Adamawa-13; Bayelsa-7; Osun and Bauchi-6; Anambra-4; Gombe-3 Sokoto-2; Imo and Kano-1.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC says 275 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours bringing total of successfully treated cases to 7,613.
There are 9 new Covid-19 fatalities in the country. This has taken the national death toll to 542.
