Famous Nigeria music Artiste Innocent Ujah Idibia, otherwise known as 2Baba, has been appointed as a regional Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees UNHCR.
He becomes the first Nigerian to be appointed into that role by the UNHCR.
2Baba a musician, music producer and Philanthropist, has been a steadfast supporter of the UNHCR LuQuLuQu campaign, since its inception uplifting the narrative of the African refugee. As an Afropop music legend, 2Baba has also given his voice to refugee and IDP causes.
In 2017 he wrote and recorded a song, Hold My Hand, dedicated to internally displaced persons. The song also helped to raise funds for UNHCR’s humanitarian response.

Idibia has also, donated generously towards the support of refugee and IDP families in Africa while using his celebrity status to raise awareness and support for UNHCR’s work.
