46-year-old Civil Servant kills wife, himself in Yenagoa

A forty-six-year-old civil servant, Patrick Markson, reportedly working at the Bayelsa State Ministry of Local Government has killed his wife and himself on Thursday Morning in Yenagoa.

The Police in Bayelsa who confirmed the story promised to carry out further investigations.

However, sources said, Patrick Markson who hails from Zarama in the Yenagoa Council Area, was alleged to have used a sledge Hammer to kill his Wife Hannah.

Patrick was said to have later taken his life when he consumed five hundred milligrams of Sniper insecticide, bringing to an end, over two decades of marriage blessed with six children.
