About 50 political parties are planning to stage a protest at the headquarters of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN and other government-owned buildings in Abuja, should the appointees seeking elective political positions in the 2023 General Elections, fail to resign on Monday, as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking to journalists at a media briefing in Abuja, the National Chairman of Zenith Labour Party, Dan Nwayanwu, said some of the Federal Executive Council members may not carry out the president’s order.
Nwanyanwu expressed displeasure over the cat and mouse game being played by some politicians, who hide under the disguise of groups to buy the N100m nomination forms.
The Zenith Labour Party National Chairman, appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari, to correct whatever has been going wrong in his administration, as he is on his way out as the president of the country.
