Nigeria and France are pushing for stronger collaboration in bilateral education partnerships to deepen economic development in both countries.
This was the consensus among participants at a pre-departure session for 86 Nigerian language assistants selected to travel to France under the Language Assistants Exchange Programme organised by the Embassy of France in Nigeria.
Speakers at the event emphasised the importance of academic exchanges, joint research, and student mobility, describing them as strong foundations for long-term cooperation.

Beyond the individual mobility experience, it was unanimously agreed that the programme will encourage dialogue between both education systems, strengthen mutual understanding, and create lasting connections between young people in both countries.
