A Civil Society Coalition in Delta State has told the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ‘put its house in order’ ahead of the March 11 governorship and state assembly elections in the country.

The group who made their position known in Asaba Delta state Capital in a communique read by Nuhu Jessica, during a Press Conference on the review of the Presidential and National Assembly Elections said the elections were flawed by irregularities and the results released by INEC a charade.

They say accredited observers in the state condemned the February 25 election which they say was characterised by late arrival of electoral materials, uncoordinated logistic arrangements, political violence and other irregularities.

The Civil Society Coalition in their communique further commended security agencies for carrying out their duties in a professional manner and advised political parties to maintain peace and seek redress of electorial malpractices from courts of competent jurisdiction.
