Murtala Usman Emerges Kebbi NLC Chairman

Murtala Usman has won the Chairmanship position of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Kebbi State Council, unopposed.

He was declared the winner at the 13th Delegates Conference of the NLC, held in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The Returning Officer who supervised the election, Uche Ekwee, said all the positions were unopposed.

He explained that the theme of this year’s conference is, Build the Trade Union, Power and Unity to the Working Class for a New Social Contract.

Speaking shortly after the swearing of the new State Chairman Of The Labour Union, Murtala Usman, who served the National Union of Electricity Employees of Nigeria, promised that he will work with all unions affiliated with Labour, without any difference, and thanked the delegates for choosing him as a leader.
