As part of efforts to promote healthy living among the people of Niger State, the Governor, Abubakar Bello, has flagged off the reintroduced monthly statewide environmental sanitation.
The exercise is to be observed every last Saturday of the month, from 7 am to 10 am.

Top government officials, including the Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, commissioners, permanent secretaries as well as directors, took part in the exercise.
Governor Bello did not only flag-off the exercise, he also participated actively in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
With this development, it is expected that the people of Niger State would promote sanitation habit in their daily affairs.
It would also help to prevent the outbreak of diseases among the people.
