The Senate Minority Leader, Eyinnaya Abaribe, says Nigeria urgently needs to move from the direction where it’s headed right now saying that a lot is wrong with the country.
Led by the minority leader, members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, caucus in the Nigerian Senate were at the Government House Port Harcourt to commiserate with Governor Nyesom Wike on the death of his uncle and to discuss a number of issues including their activities as the official opposition in the red chambers.

Not mincing words, the Senate Minority Leader said that things have not been easy.
He, nonetheless, said that the reluctance of the government to embrace good advice is largely responsible for the mess the country has found itself.
The PDP senators are also worried about the current state of insecurity in Nigeria.
On his part, Governor Wike said that Nigerians must irrespective of their differences, unite to tackle the growing state of insecurity that has engulfed the country.
The Governor also urged Senator Abaribe and his colleagues not to relent in their effort to help to build a better Nigeria.
Governor Wike further assured the lawmakers of his support, saying that he will stand by them at all time.
