As thousands struggle to secure a slot in the 2,500 teachers recruitment excercise of the Osun State Government, applicants are complaining about the payment of N3,000 to obtain log-in pin for the application form.
They are calling on the State Government to make the application free in order to ease the burden of their already compounded financial challenge.

A visit to the Ministry of Education in Abeere in the early hours of the day showed how the applicants in their numbers rush towards the Secretariat to obtain the log-in pin with the payment of N3,000.
An estimate of about 7,000 applicants are said to have paid for the application form for 2,500 jobs, while the number is increasing by the day.
Some of the applicants are calling on the government not to make the exercise a means of generating funds for the state but to truly provide the jobs for them as promised.
