Traders at the popular Balogun Market in Lagos say they are still counting their losses which they say amount to over five billion Naira worth of goods after about 600 shops were destroyed as fire gutted a five-storey plaza on Gbajumo Street.

Recounting the details of the incidence, most of those affected say, fire outbreaks are gradually becoming regular occurrences in the market, calling on the government to investigate, to ascertain the true cause of the incidents.
