The Lagos State Consumers Protection Agency, LASCOPA, has shut down a popular Supermarket that went Viral two days ago for selling expired Products
The General manager of the Agency Afolabi Sholebo, in a statement said he visited the Supermarket where it was discovered that the products on sales including toothpaste and other household items had no price tags and had expired since 2022.

Solebo who said the case has been taken to a court for Prosecution, reiterated the Agency’s mandate of protecting the interest of consumers against expired and hazardous products.
The Supermarket located at Number 3 Oduduwa Crescent GRA Ikeja was reported by a face book user for selling expired Products.
