The Presidential Campaign Council of Labour Party says the alleged audio recording of its candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi with the Founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo is fake and it is a desperate move by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to discredit their standard bearer.

In a statement, Head of Obi-Datti Media Office, Diran Onifade, accused the ruling party of promoting religious tension in the country, saying that the “APC’s endless subterfuge must stop”.
He alleged that the ruling APC refused to back out of the desperation to grab power it exhibited before the election
The Campaign Council said the Labour Party is toeing the path of the constitution to reclaim the stolen mandate, and advised Nigerians to remain focused on the task.
