PDP kicks as Supreme Court reserves ruling in Zamfara judgement review

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has raised alarm over the Supreme Court’s decision to reserve ruling on the application by the All Progressives Congress, APC to review its judgement on the 2019 elections in Zamfara State.

Addressing newsmen after an emergency meeting held in Abuja, the PDP National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbodiyan alleges plot by the APC to manipulate judicial process in a bid to secure judgement through the back door.

The party holds that the alleged move by Supreme Court is not in tandem with the established practice of the highest court which reaffirmed the Imo and Bayelsa state governorship elections that it lacked jurisdiction to review its own judgement
