Six persons have been confirmed dead in a motor accident In Ogoja local government area of Cross River State
The State Federal Road Safety Sector Commander. Abdullahi Hassan, confirmed the accident to journalists in Calabar, saying the crash involved a heavy-duty truck and a Toyota bus.
Hassan said nine adults, eight male and one female, were in the two-vehicle
Six of them died on the spot while the others who sustained various degrees of injury were taken to hospital.
The Sector Commander warned drivers on overspeeding, which he said accounts of most fatal road accidents.
