A Kogi State Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bolufemi Rotimi, has backed Rivers State Governor Nyesome Wike, over his comment that the former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye is not fit for governance.

Bolufemi who apologized to the River State Governor over the name-calling by Melaye, said any attempt by the party to circumvent the process, will lead to a total defeat of the party in the state.

The internet has generated traffic in the past forty-eight hours after Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, took a swipe at the spokesperson for the Atiku Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Dino Melaye, who is contesting the Kogi Governorship Election.

A governorship aspirant of the party, Bolufemi Rotim condemned Dino Melaye’s alleged abusive response to Wike, adding that Nyesom Wike’s stance against alleged plans of the party to cede the ticket to Dino Melaye was in order.

Bolufemi predicted what he called the final death of the PDP if the party conducts unacceptable primaries.

While calling on the party to heed Governor Wike’s advice, called on Atiku Abubakar to be wary of Dino’s capacity to turn against him, shortly.

Ten candidates are seeking to fly the flag in favour of the PDP in Kogi State, but the accusation that the delegates’ list has been doctored to favour Dino Melaye, has caused bad blood within the party in the past week.
