Rainstorm

About 150 houses have been destroyed by rainstorm in Onigarri area of Akure, Ondo State capital.

Many residents of the area, who have been rendered homeless as a result of the disaster, are calling for help from government.

The midnight rainstorm destroyed property worth millions of Naira including houses, churches and electricity poles were not spared.

The means of livelihood of some of the residents, were also affected.

The only solace for members of this community is that no life was lost in the disaster.
