In the early hours of Sunday, terrorists attacked Runji village in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State killing 26 people including women and children with many still missing.
The Councillor of Gora Ward, Manasseh Gora told AIT.live that the terrorists came in large numbers shooting sporadically and setting ablaze over 30 houses and displacing many people.

He said most of the people that were killed are women and children and some were burnt beyond recognition and those who sustained injuries were taken to hospital for treatment.
Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has condemned the attack in strong terms and prayed for the repose of the departed souls. This was contained in a statement by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
