Terrorism Financing: Intelligence Agencies Investigate China’s Involvement

The Defence Media Operations says Intelligence agencies are still investigating the sources of terrorism financing in the country

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, making reference to a publication by a British Newspaper on the possibility that China is funding terrorism in the country, says there are many theories as to who is funding conflicts in the country
He adds that the intelligence agencies have various leads they’re working on which previously resulted in many arrests

On account of other operations, the top is the rescue of 206 kidnapped victims in the North East and the killing of twenty-four unrepentant Terrorists in different Combats, by Troops of Operation HADIN Kai,
Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke, also responded to Terrorist activities in Guma LGA of Benue State, leading to the rescue of 30 injured Victims

Within the period under review, a Terrorist leader was apprehended in Igabi LGA of Kaduna State,four suspected kidnappers were arrested from Nimba forest in Riyom, Plateau state while 46 illegal refining sites were deactivated by Troops of Operation Delta Safe.

Major General Danmadami stresses that troops will continue to go all out against terrorists in the country.
