The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has felicitated with Muslim Faithful on the celebration of Eid-El Fitr after a successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In his Eid-El Fitr message, Governor Obaseki charged Muslim faithful and other Edo residents not to lose faith in Nigeria but to intensify prayers and renew their hope that the nation will overcome its current challenges.
Obaseki urged them to sustain the lessons of sacrifice, selflessness, tolerance, discipline and love learnt during the period of Ramadan as these virtues were necessary in achieving peace, unity and sustainable socio-economic development in Edo state and the country.
He wants them to continue to show love, care and compassion to one another, as taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammed especially at this time when many of the citizens were experiencing hardship arising from harsh economic realities.
