Plateau State Governor-elect, Caleb Mutfwang has Congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid El Fir celebration and called for love, tolerance and peaceful co-existence among the citizens.
Mutfwang in a press statement in Jos on Friday on behalf of the Deputy Governor-elect, Rejoices with the Muslim Ummah for their perseverance, self-discipline and piety throughout the Ramadan period.
According to Mutfwang, the 2023 Ramadan and Eid-El-Fitr are particularly of great significance because they came within Nigeria’s political transition period as a new president, state Governors, National Assembly as well as State legislators are about to be sworn into office in Nigeria’s 24 years of unbroken Democratic journey.
Mutfwang while making a passionate plea for the people of the State to heighten their prayers for the Nation and Plateau State so that all may go well across the entire nation on May 29, 2023, and after, also called on citizens to re-commit themselves to peace and secure environments to concentrate on their farming and business activities.
He further explained, that as an incoming administration, they are commiting themselves to offering quality leadership that will unite the people and work hand in hand with the security agencies, as well as the people and institutions of goodwill to secure Plateau.
