The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has called on Muslim faithful in the State to abide by the teaching of Allah, embrace peace and shun violence to ensure development in the nation
The Governor said this after Sallah prayers in Gudi his hometown in Akwanga local government area of the state.
Sule enjoined all Muslims to remain steadfast in applying the virtues of the season and adhering to the sustained spirit of supplication, hospitality and good neighbourliness.
He further charged Muslims to engage in sober reflection, sacrifice, contentment and hard work for the prosperity of Nasarawa State and the nation at large

Sule enjoined the people to remain vigilant in order to ensure a safer country, calling on the people to continue to tolerate each other’s beliefs and values therefore promoting peace and harmony as well as the socio-cultural and economic prosperity.
The Governor called on the Federal Road Safety Corps and other security agencies to intensify enforcement of road safety regulations and general security during and after the festive period.
