Nigeria records 1 new Coronavirus death and 16 new cases in 5 states

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 1 new Coronavirus death and 16 new infections in the country.

The 16 new cases include 10 in Lagos, 2 in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, 2 in Oyo and 1 each in Delta and Katsina States

AIT can confirm that the 2 states of Delta and Katsina are reporting their first new cases bringing the total number of affected states in Nigeria to 17.

Nigeria now has 254 confirmed cases of Coronavirus with 44 persons successfully treated and discharged.

The new patients discharged are a set of 7 in the Federal Capital Territory which are the first to leave the isolation centre of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada.
