The comptroller said the delay in the timely delivery of the project as promised by the government was a result of heavy traffic experienced in the areas and assured that the project will be completed soon.

The federal government through the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola had assured that the ministry is working with the Lagos State Government, all traffic management and security agencies to reduce the inconvenience caused by the Road reconstruction along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
