There have been at least 40,000 Coronavirus deaths in the United States of America which is currently the global epicentre of the pandemic.
The United States now has at least 40,585 reported Coronavirus deaths and this is according to a tally from the Johns Hopkins University.

There are also at least 742,442 cases of the virus in the US.
The total includes confirmed cases from all the
50 states, the District of Columbia and other US territories, as well as all repatriated cases.
