A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Suleiman Adamu has died from Coronavirus infection.
The death of the lawmaker was announced by Governor Abdullahi Sule at a briefing on Sunday in Lafia, the state capital
Adamu who represented Nasarawa Central State Constituency was treating malaria. He died and was buried before the result of his Coronavirus test was released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

Consequently, the health workers who treated him of malaria and those who attended his burial are being traced and advised to isolate immediately.
Nasarawa State has recorded additional 7 positive cases of Covid -19 with one death barely 5 days after the index case.
