The Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace of Nigeria says the report making the rounds that the Minister, Hadi Sirika had sacked the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Rabiu Yadudu is untrue.
Speaking to AIT.live in a telephone call, spokesperson to the Ministry, James Odaudu noted that though the FAAN Managing Director’s four-year tenure expires in May his re-appointment will be determined by the Federal Government.

As of the time of filing this report, the Ministry is however yet to issue a formal statement on the development.
Reports on the sack of Yadudu hit the media space late Saturday night indicating that the Regional General Manager, North-Central and Airport Manager of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Kabir Mohammed was appointed as the new Managing Director of the Authority.
