President Muhammadu Buhari is chairing an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Council of the Federation at the State House, Abuja.
Our Correspondent reports that the council is to consider for approval over 40 memos from various ministries, departments, and agencies.
The meeting which started at 12:20 pm at the Council chambers of the presidential villa, has in attendance Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Mungonu (retd), as well as other council members.

There will be a valedictory council meeting on Wednesday.
